  • 1.The sizes of my left and right breasts are different. Can I have the operation?
  • Compared with other procedures that use silicone gel-filled implants, the CAL tissue augmentation procedure can fine-tune the amount of fat to be transplanted. Therefore even if you have different sized breasts, you can have the operation without feeling any anxiety.

  • 3.Is it possible to augment the breasts that are already saggy?
  • Possible. By transplanting fat to saggy breasts, the breasts become firm, and the position of nipples, as well as the position of the breasts themselves, lifts up, and thus the downward displacement of the breasts will be improved.

  • 4.Will I feel pain? How long does the pain last?
  • In some cases, pain, similar to the strong muscle pain, may last for a few days to 2 weeks in the liposuctioned area.
The lipo-transplanted area might be swollen and cause pain for several weeks.
How long such pain and swelling last varies among individuals, but it will be gradually eased.

  • 5.Will I have conspicuous, uneven contour on the liposuctioned area?
  • In the usual liposuction procedures, fat will be suctioned from one area and in some cases a rather conspicuous, uneven contour might be created in that area. But in our procedures, fat will be suctioned from several parts of the body, so that there will not be any conspicuous, uneven contour left on the body.

  • 7.Will fat be suctioned as I wish?

  • 8.Will any scars be left on my body?
  • In order to insert a tube for liposuction, a minor skin incision will be made in an inconspicuous area by using a scalpel.
It will be 7mm at the longest, but a scar will remain. In many cases, they are inconspicuous.
In the lipo-transplanted area, reddish tiny marks of an injection needle will remain for a while. However it will gradually disappear in about a month. The mark will become a tiny white dot, and it will be inconspicuous.

  • 12.If I have the operation, will I have difficulties in detecting breast cancer in the future?
  • In the normal lipo-transplantation procedures, suctioned fat is transplanted in a clump, and therefore, in some cases calcification occurs in the transplanted fat. As this calcification comes out in mammograms, it has been reported that it could be mistakenly recognized as breast cancer.
However, with the advancement of mammography and the improvement of diagnostic techniques of breast surgeons, nowadays it is possible to discern fat calcification and breast cancer on the mammograms, and there are few cases that the patients who had the operation have difficulties in breast cancer detection. As for breast cancer detection, besides mammography, various methods including ultrasound and MRI have been developed, and these methods are being refined each day.

  • 16.Even after having stem cells injected into my breasts, will my breasts become smaller as I get older?
  • After injecting stem cells, the tissue that survives in your breast(s) will become part of your body. Therefore, they will naturally become smaller as you get older. This is very natural development.
On the contrary, in the case of breast augmentation with artificial fillings, such as silicone gel-filled implants, although your body will change with age, those implants will not change. Therefore the shape of the bags will become unnaturally conspicuous, as you get older.

  • 17.How long can I keep the implanted silicone bags inside my breasts?
  • Generally, if you keep the implanted silicone bags for a certain period of time, a capsule might be generated (the silicone bags are recognized as alien substances inside your body, and the scar tissue or capsule will form around the bags), making the breasts hard to the touch, and in some cases, displacement of the bags or distortion of the breasts also may occur. In addition, as your body becomes thinner with age, the silicone bags will become conspicuous. Therefore there are many people who have had these bags removed.
