Ms. U.H (in her early 40's, Japanese, tall, has had silicone implant from another clinic )

  • What made you decide to have an operation at Cellport Clinic Yokohama?
  • I was concerned with the unnatural feeling from implant after the breast reconstruction surgery and the balance between left and right breast. While there was an option of redoing the reconstruction surgery using implant after removing the current implant, I searched for other possible options, and found the homepage of Cellport Clinic Yokohama on internet. I had always thought a day like this would come with the development of reconstruction method using one's own cells, so I went for consultation at once. It was good talking to the Medical Director, and on receiving the consultation, I made up my mind for Cellport Clinic.

  • How did you feel before having the procedure, or on the day you had the procedure?
  • Since I had made the decision for myself, I had no second thoughts. Even on the day of the operation, I simply thought that I would leave everything up to the doctor.

  • Tell us about changes made in your body and feelings after having the procedure.
  • I had once put money and time in getting implant, and I didn't have enough courage to remove it for quite a while, so I was incredibly comfortable that I had finally gotten rid of it.

At first, the area where the fat was injected was not the shape that I had imagined. But with the time, little by little the skin is getting softer and the shape is changing also, so I can now imagine that it will be closer to my ideal when it is refined once more. I am looking forward to it, full with hope.

  • What did you think about the atmosphere of the clinic?
  • The interior is calm, very private, and quiet, and I was comfortable throughout the hours of hospitalization. (I thought the blankets were a bit heavy. I couldn't help thinking 'is it alright to have such on top of the breasts that just had the surgery?')

    Nurse's Comments

After the operation, to warm up the body, an electric blanket as well as the normal blanket is used. The weight of the blanket will not affect the breasts after the operation, but if you feel uncomfortable, please feel free to talk to the nurses.

  • How were the attitudes of the doctors and staff?
  • The Medical Director is very good with making explanations easy to understand, and it has a feeling of taking away the anxiety, so I felt it would be okay to leave everything up to this doctor. There are many friendly nurses (especially Ms. Arii) who are all easy to talk to, and it was heart-warming.

The receptionists are all very gentle and kind, very classy, and it feels nice having them corresponding to my needs.

  • Please give some advice to people who plan to have the same procedures or those who hesitate to have an operation.
  • Since the cells are one's own, I would advise to remember that it will be changing, and not to ask for immediate result, but give some time while trying.
