- What made you decide to have an operation at Cellport Clinic Yokohama?
-
Ever since I was in high school, I was insecure about the smallness of my breasts, and have been thinking of breast augmentation. I started to give serious thoughts when I got a job, and have been searching for information on the web, but I always felt repulsive toward silicone implants.
Through the internet, I found this clinic that transplants one's own fat, and from consultation, I was able to know that burden on the body is smaller compared to the implant, and decided to take the operation.
- How did you feel before having the procedure, or on the day you had the procedure?
-
Because I had experienced operation before and already had an image of general anesthesia and post-operation, I did not feel much anxiety. I think I was more anticipated toward getting bigger breasts after the operation than anxious about the operation.
- Tell us about changes made in your body and feelings after having the procedure.
-
I was surprised with the pain in thighs. It was difficult to sit or stand, so I couldn't make much movement, becoming the most painful part of the operation. The internal bleeding in thighs and breasts and swelling made it feel as if it were not my body, but I had been already informed by the nurses and the counselors that there would be such symptoms, and that I need not to worry for they will disappear with the time, so again, I didn't feel much anxiety.
- What did you think about the atmosphere of the clinic?
-
The cleanness and the stylish unified design of the room helped me feel at home. Also, I was relieved that the waiting room was designed in such way that I do not meet any other patients.
- How were the attitudes of the doctors and staff?
-
The fact that I had same counselor every time and same nurse for most of the times, and that they remembered how I was on my prior appointments, helped me feel secure. I am truly comfortable that the same person takes care of me on every appointment because I don't want many people to be aware that I had an operation. Also, through their detailed explanation of the post-operative body condition, it was easier to have a post-operative image, consequently reducing the worries.
- Please give some advice to people who plan to have the same procedures or those who hesitate to have an operation.
-
I believe that anybody who has an operation will be surprised at the temporary change the body goes through after the operation, such as pain, internal bleeding, and swelling, so try to have conversations with the doctor, nurses, and counselors to build an image prior.
I went back to my office just 2 days after the operation, but since there is pain, I would recommend resting for about 1 week.
If anybody is hesitating to have an operation, visit for a consultation until you are convinced.
