Ms. C.M (late 20's, Japanese, slim build, AAA cup)
- What made you decide to have an operation at Cellport Clinic Yokohama?
-
The direct opportunity was the newspaper article I read on stem cell and fat transplantation. I had already known about a clinic that had ventured from Tokyo University, but I didn't know how and where I need to contact, and I just left it there hanging in mid-air. This time, after reading the article, I checked out the website, and visited the clinic for a counsel. I took with myself a note with several questions written down, and decided to take the operation after several days from the counseling.
- How did you feel before having the procedure, or on the day you had the procedure?
-
I couldn't help feeling nervous before the operation. To me, not having this kind of experience, this was a big surgery, and I kept thinking about what if. Especially on the day of the operation, I couldn't calm down until right before the operation.
- Tell us about changes made in your body and feelings after having the procedure.
-
It felt very long from after the operation to the morning of the next day. My stomach must have weakened, and I woke up every several hours feeling nauseous, fell back to sleep after a while, and then woke up again. Without any choice, I thought at least it would prevent economy class syndrome, and exercised my legs while awake.
After discharge from the clinic, the swelling in my breasts were horrible for several hours, and it felt as if there was something inside me that had nothing to do with me, and I was depressed, thinking "what have I done".
With the swelling and the hardness of the breasts softening, the feeling of accomplishment and gratitude for undergoing the operation gradually became stronger.
Counselor's Comments
If you feel nauseous or uneasy during your stay at the clinic, please feel free to call our nurse at anytime. We have them on call 24 hours.
We will also gladly offer our counseling post-operation.
- What did you think about the atmosphere of the clinic?
-
The clinic is comfortable with consideration for the patients not to bump into other patients face to face. The receptionists always meet you with a smile, and answer even to the smallest worries, so I always ask anything that I don't know or feel uncomfortable with.
- How were the attitudes of the doctors and staff?
-
Starting from moment of the first counseling, I was able to receive answers for very specific questions, and I feel that was how my anxiety was kept to the minimal level. The words from the doctor "If you have any questions, please ask as many as you want" was what relaxed me the most.
- Please give some advice to people who plan to have the same procedures or those who hesitate to have an operation.
-
I went to take the counseling doubting at first. I think, after asking every concern you have about the operation during the counseling, and after receiving all the answers and explanations from the doctor, you can consider about the operation. Rather than worrying about everything alone, I recommend taking the counseling first.
