Ms.P.T (early 40's, Japanese, small build)

  • What made you decide to have an operation at Cellport Clinic Yokohama?
  • I happened to see the opening of the Cellport Clinic Yokohama introduced on the internet topic issue.

  • How did you feel before having the procedure, or on the day you had the procedure?
  • I was nervous about whether the pain and the procedure would be as described in the explanation given before the surgery. Also, I was worried the attitude of the doctor and nurses would be different compared before and after the operation. (Before the operation, the doctor and nurses were all amazingly gentle and kind, thinking what is the best for the patient)

    Staff's Comment

At our clinic, we offer full after care to our patients, post of operation. If you have any concerns, please contact our staffs without hesitation.

  • Tell us about changes made in your body and feelings after having the procedure.
  • Before the operation, it felt as if I had a ball in my breast, and I have had gloomy feeling of distress for the past 6 years. I couldn't sleep on my stomach, and there was pressure from my breast when I slept on my back, so I could only sleep on my side.

Because of capsular contracture, I couldn't choose a bra that fit. Dull pain bothered me, and when touched, my breast hurt with pain like light electric shock. The breast surface was cold, without any body temperature.

After I had the operation, time has passed with events that I feared not occurring for the most part. The shape is natural, and the pain has gone. The sensation and the body temperature have returned also. Before the operation, no matter what I wore, the contracture made my style look unbalanced, but it looks natural now. The post-operative condition is exactly as I heard from the doctor, so I'm not worried at all.

  • What did you think about the atmosphere of the clinic?
  • I think it was great, with very relaxing atmosphere. I received hospitalities from nurses and the receptionists, and I think they were wonderful.

  • How were the attitudes of the doctors and staff?
  • I'm very much satisfied. The Medical Director, the nurses and other staffs all stood on the patient's side, and I felt they cared for their patients very much. If there was anxiety from the patient, they gave their effort in trying to reduce that. I think they are all very much reliable doctors and staffs. Their impression is humorous and gentle. I was short on time for several accounts of my regular check-up, and they researched the time schedule for my ride on the subway.

  • Please give some advice to people who plan to have the same procedures or those who hesitate to have an operation.
  • I suffered greatly from the implant, and I had a lot of anxieties and nervousness about this operation. I asked many questions to the doctors and the counselors. I know I have asked very surplus questions too, but I am grateful for having them answered politely with utmost care. I know there are many people who are concerned about the operation from articles on internet, but I advise them to get counseling at the clinic first. You will be able to relax from their hospitality and support.

It's comforting to know you get the facts about the operation and post-operative condition. I believe it would be better to step into taking the operation more lightly without feeling too much anxiety. I have escaped from the pain of implant, and I now have a very natural and safe body. I can rest fully during the once gloomy nights, and my condition is absolutely wonderful. I recommend removing the implant as soon as possible.
