- What made you decide to have an operation at Cellport Clinic Yokohama?

I have been troubled ever since the size of my breast shrunk after breast-feeding. But I felt compelled toward inserting artificial material for breast augmentation.
About 3 years ago on television, I watched a program on breast augmentation using CAL soft tissue augmentation at the University of Tokyo Hospital, and began to think '"with this method, I might be able to go through the surgery". But I gave up on the idea when I was told I needed to wait for 2 years, during the counseling I got at the hospital 5 months later.
But last year, through an inquiry by e-mail, I was told about the opening of this clinic. The location was close to my place, and I started to give it a serious thought.
- How did you feel before having the procedure, or on the day you had the procedure?

I gave it many thoughts everyday until making the decision.
As a mother and a wife taking care of a family, I wasn't sure if it was right for me to spend so much money and time (for recovery) for myself only. Fortunately my husband understood, and I waited eagerly after deciding. Though I was able to question about the worries I had several times before the surgery, the anxiety concerning risk of the anesthetic and the possibility for the result to be not worth the operation was there until after the surgery.
But on the operation day, I felt confident with several specialized doctors at the scene giving explanations and support.
- Tell us about changes made in your body and feelings after having the procedure.

About the breast: Before the surgery, wearing a bra seemed unnecessary for my breast. Now, after 3 months, every now and then I feel too tight even with the cup size of B. I am absolutely satisfied.
About the thighs: From the day of the operation to two weeks following, the pain and the inconvenience of not being able to walk or move as I want, was more than I had imagined. But after two weeks going onto third, it faded away, relieving me of pain. Now there is almost no pain at all. I heard that parts where liposuction was performed are unlikely to store fat once again, and it is wonderful to be able to stay slim than before.
The best part is that I was able to regain my self-conscious. The stress I had was so great that I had even seen it in my dreams. With it gone, I am satisfied that I had the operation.
- What did you think about the atmosphere of the clinic?

It was absolutely clean. The atmosphere of the lobby and single room had calmness much like that of a hotel, providing relaxing space.
- How were the attitudes of the doctors and staff?

The Medical Director was young and bright (chuckling ever so often), and the nurses and the other staffs gave me kind and tender care.
I was greatly impressed especially with the receptionists. While carrying out normal routines, they remembered each and every patient, and showed their concern by asking questions directed to individuals.
The delicate consideration from the nurse on the day of the operation was also appreciating. I felt somewhat uneasy when she wasn't the nurse on night duty. I remember feeling relieved on seeing her again the next day. I know I can rely on her because she never fails to treat me with tender care. I can't thank her enough.

We have nurse on night duty in charge while undergoing the procedure. You can be reassured the detailed condition of the patient will be transferred from the day of the operation to the time of your discharge, so relax during your stay.
- Please give some advice to people who plan to have the same procedures or those who hesitate to have an operation.

Not just for young, I think this operation is suitable for women who lost their shape through birth, breast-feeding, and age. I myself after receiving the operation, feel absolutely satisfied, being able to achieve self-confidence after losing the agony I had until know. Another advantage is because my own fat is used, I can proudly recognize it as "truly my breast".
To the ones who are troubled for similar reasons, as long as the requirements meet, I think the operation is worthwhile getting.
But for those who work, take into consideration that there might be more pain and difficulty in motion than imagined. I had severe swellings, mostly beneath the knee, and I had to rest every several hours with my legs positioned high. You don't need to tell your coworkers about breast augmentation, but it would be best to earn their understandings before the operation so you can take plenty of days off.
There are demerits (though it dissolves in two to three weeks), but I strongly encourage you to take this operation.
