Ms. U.S (middle 20's, Japanese,standard proportion)
- What made you decide to have an operation at Cellport Clinic Yokohama?
-
I learned about the clinic on TV. I wasn't sure whether I could get a satisfactory result if I had a traditional operation, but with this new procedure, I believed I could get my breasts augmented safely and perfectly.
- How did you feel before having the procedure, or on the day you had the procedure?
-
I wasn't so nervous before the operation. But I felt a little bit scared when the side effects of anesthesia were explained to me.
The Medical Director's Comments
Everyday, tens of thousands of operations and administrations of anesthesia are conducted safely all over Japan. However, there is a risk of causing thrombosis when you remain still for a long period of time. This is called "economy-class syndrome" and has become familiar to many people. Even if you do not have an operation but get on a plane or a bus, it is possible that a blood clot is formulated in your leg and moves up into a blood vessel of an internal organ, and occludes it.
To prevent this from happening, we take measures during and after the operation to prevent thrombosis.
- Tell us about changes made in your body and feelings after having the procedure.
-
Immediately after the operation, I wasn't able to appreciate the fact that my breasts became bigger, but I felt uncomfortable with various parts of my body, and I also had some bruises. I looked so painful and I felt anxious.
It was 2-3 weeks after the operation when my physical condition got better and I really felt happy with my bigger breasts!
- What did you think about the atmosphere of the clinic?
-
I think it was very good.
It was very comfortable.
- How were the attitudes of the doctors and staff?
-
I think it was also good. I needed to be naked, and such a situation made me a little bit nervous, but I did not have any feeling of discomfort.
- Please give some advice to people who plan to have the same procedures or those who hesitate to have an operation.
-
From a long-term perspective, I think it is a safe and reliable operation. It's expensive, but worth doing. When I imagine how I will look a year later, I feel so happy! Although I need to go through hardship for a certain period of time after the operation, I think it is worth it.
