This patient is in her 40's, and had breast-sparing surgery. After undergoing radiation therapy and hormone therapy, she came to us for a breast reconstruction. Not only the volume has been lost on her breast, but also there was an adhesion of the skin to pectoralis muscles.
After talking to the patient, we performed CAL tissue augmentation procedure also on her right breast withered from a hormone therapy. We have restored 1 cm of fat layer on the adhesions between pectoralis muscles and the skin. The volume still lacks, but she has recovered her natural movement with the adhesions dissolved.
