CELLPORT CLINIC YOKOHAMA provides breast
augmentation surgery that utilizes the CAL soft tissue augmentation
procedure. Adipose-Derived Cells (ADCs), which include adipose-derived
stem cells, are extracted from adipose tissue that is obtained
using liposuctioning the abdominal wall or thighs. The aspirated
fat is known to be relatively stem cell-deficient compared to
regular fat, so it is supplemented with ADCs before transplantation
using aspirated fat as living scaffolds. The supplemented aspirated
fat, which now contains a high concentration of stem cells,
is injected little by little, layer to layer, into each breast
in order to obtain diffuse distribution of transplanted fatty
tissue.
This procedure will show dramatic results by increasing breast
volume roughly equivalent to two bra-cup sizes (corresponds
to 5.0 cm increase in breast circumference). The degree of breast
enhancement is unprecedented using conventional lipoinjection
procedures.
In addition, transplanted fat that survives in the breasts
with a beautiful shape and the desired size will be maintained
in each breast in the rest of your life with a normal aging
change.
Lipoinjection is performed by using a small-gauge needle (1
mm), so that only tiny skin incisions will remain after the
treatment.

This patient is in her mid-20, and received CAL soft tissue augmentation procedure.
It hasn't even been one month since she had the procedure, but her breasts already look so beautiful and natural. And they are very soft. At this stage everything is perfect. The red areas located under and on the outer edges of the breasts are marks from the needle that are used to inject fat and ADCs (Adipose Derived Cells) during the CAL tissue augmentation procedure. Later, the skin in these areas will become more natural looking and the marks imperceptible.

This scar occurred by injecting a cannula
for liposuction. It all depends on a patient's request, but
normally fat is suctioned from the thigh or stomach. It was
just a 5mm (0.2inch)-long scar.
During normal CAL tissue augmentation procedures, only two such small scars remain. In this case, it has been only one month after the procedure, so the scar looks still dark, but it will gradually become lighter and lighter.
In the case of silicon gel-filled implants, a longer skin incision will be needed to insert implants through the patient's armpits. Palpably bigger scars will remain.
Besides the CAL tissue augmentation procedure, there are some other breast augmentation procedures which use an autologous fat transplantation method. However, those procedures are said to have the following problems.
- Since transplanted fat is absorbed into the body a few months after the transplantation, the efficiency of breast augmentation is low.
- A lump (fibrosis, calcification) is often felt, because fat is transplanted "in a clump".
- In many cases, necrosis of transplanted fat is reported due to the lack of blood supply, resulting in formation of cysts, fibrosis or calcification.
CAL tissue augmentation procedure is a safe breast augmentation procedure with high efficiency, which has overcome all the problems stated above.
Breast augmentation by implant can have a drastic increase in the size of the breast relatively easily, but there are number of complications that may be caused by implant, such as capsular contracture (deform by hardening), rupture or leakage of the implant, deformation of breast or asymmetry, infection, or implants exposure from skin necrosis. On reclining, the unnatural height and shape will show that there is an implant, and the implant will be visible to others through x-ray on medical checkup.
From these problems, one out of three women who had implant has a removal operation in 10 years. In United States where breast augmentation is popular, almost 50 thousand people are going through artificial implant removal operation every year.
